Anytime you are investing money into something important you're looking
for the best result possible. Choosing an installer and location to tint the

windows on your vehicle may seem like a cut & dry decision but there are

many factors to think about before you make your decision.

1. WHAT TYPE OF FILM IS USED?
Choosing the right type of film is one of the most important factors when it comes to the lifetime of your installation. Overtime, a cheap film will turn purple, begin to crack, bubble, fade and peel. This not only makes your vehicle look horrible but it also increases the cost when you have your windows re-tinted in the future. Most installers will charge between $50 - $100 just to remove the cheap film. A good film will last the lifetime of your vehicle without changing. Suntek, 3M, and Madico are all reputable films. You can learn more about them on our links page.

2. WHAT TYPE OF WARRANTY IS OFFERED?
Choosing a brand that offers a
lifetime warranty is just as important as the film itself. If the company or installer only offers a 5 year warranty then what does that say about the film they are using? We offer a lifetime warranty on ALL installations on top of the lifetime warranty offered by the manufacturer. This means that should your film be defective and begin to fade, crack, bubble, or peel we will gladly replace it at no cost to you for the time that you own the vehicle.

3. ENVIRONMENT

If you choose the right type of film with a lifetime warranty then you need to make sure the environment is kept clean, dust free, and separate from other automotive services.  The smallest particle of dust, dirt, or hair becomes very visible once the film is applied.
BEWARE of mobile tinters! Although their skills can be just as good as those who work in a shop they have no control over the environment. Regardless of how good they are or how many references they carry it is essential to tint in a clean and dust free shop.
HighLine Customs takes pride in its
Clean Room. We will inspect your vehicle with you to make sure you leave with a flawless installation.
Whether or not you choose HighLine Customs to install your tint or another installer in the area make sure to remember the guidelines listed above.
